Rebuilding
lives,
churches and
economies.
We are a systemic change school in the Franciscan tradition. We teach faith leaders and executives how to build economies where no one is poor.

Our College for pastors, priests and chaplains provides training in how to identify the causes of decline in ministries and develop a 3 year strategy for renewal.

We are developing curriculum materials in systemic change for schools to use in their community service programs.

Our Caux College of Renewal offers targeting training in systemic change for business and social sector leaders wanting to rebuild their economy.

Our Why
%20(58).png)
Our Founder, Heather Cetrangolo, grew up surviving abuse in the Church, but through an unexpected encounter with grace, became a priest herself.
Heather had a heart for people, church communities that had been failed by the leaders in their lives. She understood the dangers of religion at a deeply personal level, as well as the power of faith-based communities to save lives and transform futures. One after another, she worked with communities in need of healing and renewal. Today, it is her life mission to pass these skills onto leaders in schools, congregations, the care economy and sustainability.

Macro-Level Change

We develop research teams to crack the biggest challenges of our times.
Our research goes beyond presenting data in reports. We build teams who execute change across a three-year, monitored and evaluated process.
Current projects we are working on include:
Renewing community housing in Victoria;
Renewing health care for patients living with ME;
Renewing churches in Sri Lanka.

It’s just the most incredible course; probably the most effective training, teaching and facilitation I’ve ever been to. I genuinely think Heather has a unique blend of priest, teacher, listener and a legal background that makes her very analytical. She takes information that people give her and applies it really quickly and looks to structure.

Systemic Renewal has transformed the way I mentor faith leaders. When confronted with grassroots issues in prishes, I now understand the importance as a formator to slow down, evaluate what challenges the communities are facing, and consider the more complex contexts our leaders are situated in. Heather's story is not esoteric - her experiences are real, raw and relatable.

This program is not inspirational fluff, it is deep, genuine, structural work for people who labor inside systems that often feel set up to fail, and you are learning from leaders who actively work within and understand the weight and human responsibility of systemic change.

Heather is an advanced theoretician in ‘Systemic Renewal’. She has strong analytical and critical thinking skills, along with a problem-based and solution-oriented approach. All of this is accompanied by a strong visual presentation ability which makes her work more easily comprehensible. She possesses a humble character and patiently observes and perceives new knowledge.
